EuroLeague roster moves ripple through the transfer market, with Peters set for Milan
EuroLeague clubs are already shaping their 2026/2027 rosters, and on Tuesday several moves became official. Olympiacos announced that Alec Peters will leave the team after four years in Piraeus, and he is expected to sign with Milan.
Peters, who was a key contributor in Olympiacos’ recent Final Four run, spent most of his time there as Sasha Vezenkov’s backup. This past season he averaged 7.5 points and 2.8 rebounds in a little over 15 minutes per game, but in the Final Four he jumped to 16.5 points and 4.5 rebounds against Fenerbahce and Real Madrid. In Italy, he is set to earn $1.7 million per season on a two-year contract. His arrival could coincide with the departures of Zach LeDay, whose deal expires in the summer, and Shavon Shields, who is expected to leave.
The domino effect may also impact the chase for Bonzie Colson, whom Maccabi Tel Aviv wants as well. Olympiacos is also targeting the forward, who may leave Fenerbahce this summer, as a possible replacement for Peters.
Elsewhere, former Maccabi player Saben Lee officially signed a two-year deal with Zalgiris Kaunas. Lee began the season with Olympiacos before moving to Anadolu Efes, where he played 16 games and averaged 11.3 points and 3.1 assists. Anadolu Efes also announced that Jordan Loyd, another former Maccabi guard, will stay after signing a one-year extension with an option for a second year. The 32-year-old averaged 11.4 points per game in the EuroLeague last season. Codi Miller-McIntyre also extended his deal, signing through 2028 with Baskonia after averaging 11.1 points and 3.0 assists this season.
