Reshet 13 has commenced casting for the upcoming season of the reality show "HaAch HaGadol" (Big Brother), less than four months after the conclusion of its previous, tumultuous season. The latest season ended in June 2026 with the victory of Gal Rubin, a mother of six and former "Survivor" contestant. Rubin's win reportedly disappointed many housemates with whom she had conflicts during the show.
Despite past rivalries, Rubin recently celebrated her twin daughters' bat mitzvah. The event was attended by former contestants who had less amicable relationships with her on the show, including Hodia Cohen, Omer Zipori, and Shelly Sarbrianikoff, indicating a potential easing of tensions.
The casting process for the new season is being managed by a team of five individuals: Nina Levi, Inbar Zigdon (who is also a singer), Shir Avrahami, Idan Schlesinger, and Shir Gerbi. All five casters maintain active Instagram profiles.
