A man in his thirties sustained critical injuries to his lower limbs on Saturday evening near the port of Acre, apparently after being struck by a boat's engine. MDA (Magen David Adom) emergency services received a report at 6:29 PM and found the man on the shore after bystanders had brought him from the water. Paramedics provided him with life-saving medical treatment while he was conscious, despite the severity of his injuries. He was then transported by a mobile intensive care unit to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya for further treatment. "The young man was fully conscious and suffering from serious injuries to his lower limbs," said MDA paramedic Mira Boka'i. She added that those present at the scene had moved him to the beach before medical teams arrived. His condition was described as serious.
