  • Six people were lightly injured in an Israeli drone strike on a car in eastern Lebanon's Bekaa region.
  • Five of the injured were Syrian nationals, and one was Lebanese, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
  • Israeli forces also advanced into southern Lebanon, uprooting olive trees near a Lebanese army post.
  • Airstrikes were carried out by Israeli warplanes in several towns in southern Lebanon.
  • The incidents are part of ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon, which has resulted in thousands of casualties since March 2nd.

Six people sustained minor injuries on Friday when an Israeli drone targeted a car in Lebanon's eastern Bekaa region, near the Syrian border. The Lebanese National News Agency reported that the drone struck a vehicle in the town of Hosh al-Sayyid Ali, in the Baalbek-Hermel Governorate. According to the Lebanese Ministry of Health, five of the injured are Syrian nationals, including two women, and one is Lebanese. Eyewitnesses stated the missile did not hit the car directly but landed nearby. Medical sources confirmed six individuals suffered light injuries from the Israeli strike.

In a separate incident in southern Lebanon, an Israeli force, including infantry and a military bulldozer, advanced about 50 meters from a Lebanese army post in the town of Zawtar al-Gharbiyyeh, Nabatieh district. The Israeli force reportedly used the bulldozer to uproot olive trees in the area. Additionally, an Israeli airstrike hit the Al-Ain area in the town of Hadaatha, Bint Jbeil district, and Israeli warplanes conducted a raid on the town of Mansouri, the Lebanese agency reported.

These events occur amid ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanon, which began on March 2nd. The Lebanese Ministry of Health's latest statistics, released on September 25th, indicate that this aggression has resulted in 4,386 deaths and 12,413 injuries. Despite a US-brokered "framework agreement" signed by Beirut and Tel Aviv in Washington on June 26th, which stipulates a gradual Israeli withdrawal and deployment of the Lebanese army in vacated areas, Israel continues its attacks on southern Lebanon. Israel still occupies some Lebanese territories, with some areas under its control for decades and others seized during recent wars and military operations.
