A 30-year-old electrician in Kiryat Motzkin, Israel, survived a severe electric shock during repair work at a commercial center that caused his heart to stop. Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) responded to the scene and initiated advanced resuscitation efforts. The electrician was unconscious with no pulse or breathing when they arrived. Their efforts included chest compressions, artificial respiration, medication, and defibrillation. His heart resumed beating only after a powerful electric shock from a defibrillator. Following stabilization, he was transported to Rambam Hospital in Haifa in full consciousness by an intensive care ambulance. "When we arrived at the scene, the man was lying unconscious, he had no pulse and no breathing," said MDA paramedic Afik Tovias. "We immediately began advanced resuscitation measures, which included chest compressions, artificial ventilation, administering medication, and electric shocks. After the heart started beating again, we took him to the hospital in an intensive care vehicle."
