A man, approximately 40 years old, died after his vehicle exploded on Highway 4 at the Pal-Yam Junction on Tuesday night. MDA emergency medical services received the report at 9:34 PM and arrived at the scene to find the man unconscious with severe, multi-system injuries. Despite resuscitation efforts, paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene. Police from the Hadera station were dispatched to investigate the circumstances of the explosion and began collecting evidence. "It was a very difficult scene, a car that had exploded," said Dr. Muhammad Abu Alrob, an MDA doctor, along with paramedic Simon Buirat and medic Muhammad Magadla. "When we arrived, we saw the man, unconscious and suffering from severe, multi-system injuries. We immediately began resuscitation efforts, but his injuries were too severe, and we had no choice but to pronounce him dead on the spot."
