Another tense elimination night on "Dancing with the Stars" ended with Shai Lee Shindler and Nadav Shaham leaving the competition as the sixth eliminated couple. The episode was a 1990s special that took the contestants back in time, and after six performances, audience voting put two couples from the second group at risk: Shindler and Shaham against Noa Cohen and Itan Krips.
The judges ultimately chose to save Cohen and Krips, saying they should not have been in the elimination battle at all. That decision sent Shindler and Shaham out of the dance floor. Their routine, a Viennese waltz to "Hainu Osim Ahava" by Knesiyat HaSechel, did not fully convince the panel.
Judge Anna Aronov said she could see improvement but noted that the technique was still very weak. David Dvir was harsher, saying, "There is a body that is not built to dance." The pair finished the night with 20 points, and together with the public vote were once again sent to elimination.
They left on a positive note. Shindler said, "It was so much fun, it's a shame it ended so quickly. Nadav is the best thing that ever happened to me in the world, he is so talented. I will keep dancing, maybe not here." Shaham replied, "You are amazing, you worked so hard and I am very proud of you."
