Another tense elimination night on "Dancing with the Stars" ended with Shai Lee Shindler and Nadav Shaham leaving the competition, making them the sixth couple sent home. The episode was a 1990s-themed special that took the stars back in time and featured six performances before the results led to the showdown.
After audience votes, two couples from the second group were placed in danger, Noya Cohen and Eitan Krips versus Shindler and Shaham. The judges ultimately chose to save Cohen and Krips, saying they should not have been in the elimination round at all, and Shindler and Shaham were eliminated.
Shindler and Shaham danced a Viennese waltz to "Hainu Osim Ahava" by Knessiyat Hasekhel. The judges were divided, with Anna Aronov saying she saw improvement but that the technique was still very weak. David Dvir was harsher, saying, "There is a body that is not built to dance." They finished with 20 points, and the audience vote pushed them back into the danger zone.
The pair parted on friendly terms. Shindler said, "It was very fun, too bad it ended so fast. Nadav is the best thing that happened to me in the world, he is so talented. I will keep dancing, maybe not here." Shaham replied, "You are amazing, you worked so hard and I am very proud of you."
