A 19-year-old woman was shot dead overnight Thursday in Ramla. Police were called to the scene and opened an investigation, while searching for the suspected killer.

According to Magen David Adom, shortly after medics and paramedics arrived, the woman in Ashdod was found “lying unconscious with no pulse and no breathing,” and after medical checks she was pronounced dead at the scene. Police who arrived there also identified signs of violence on the victim’s body and later detained her husband as part of the investigation.
