A contractor working for Israel's Defense Ministry was killed on Tuesday when a structure collapsed in the Gaza Strip. The incident occurred around 1:00 p.m. in the Jabalia area, where forces were carrying out the demolition of buildings.
According to the report, the building fell on the contractor while he was operating an excavator. The activity was part of engineering work being done in Gaza on behalf of the Defense Ministry.
The IDF said the worker was employed by a contracting company conducting the engineering work and died as a result of an operational accident. His family has been notified.
