Jewish vandals continued their harassment of Palestinians and sent threatening messages to senior security officials overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday. In the Palestinian village of Deir Nizam in the Samaria region, graffiti was spray-painted on a house wall reading, "Evacuations are a mess - Avi Bluth, be careful." The message was directed at the Commander of the Central Command, Avi Bluth.

Another message targeted the head of the Shin Bet, David Zini, who was reportedly considering demanding the return of administrative arrest warrants for Jews. The vandals wrote, "Long live the warrants." The article reported no arrests related to these incidents.

Palestinians in Deir Nizam reported that "settlers attacked houses early this morning in the village of Deir Nizam, northwest of Ramallah, set fire to vehicles, and spray-painted hate graffiti on the walls of houses." Residents stated that property damage occurred. The previous night, dozens of Jewish vandals attacked Palestinian homes in the southern Hebron Hills area, throwing stones and setting fire to vehicles. Palestinian accounts described attempts to break down doors, shattered windows, and significant property damage.

These attacks followed the establishment and subsequent evacuation of a tent outpost earlier in the week by security forces. The protests against Avi Bluth stem from his enforcement policies against nationalist crime and violence. Bluth has consistently spoken out against harming Palestinians not involved in terrorism and against security forces. As commander, he is responsible for security and law enforcement in the area, including the evacuation of illegal construction and outposts, and restricting the movement of extremist activists.

Sources told Ynet that during a political-security cabinet meeting on Monday, Shin Bet head Zini stated that if he could not address the extremist Jewish riots through other means, he would demand the reinstatement of administrative arrests against Jews. Defense Minister Yisrael Katz had decided two years prior to cease the use of administrative arrest warrants against Jews shortly after taking office.
