A moment of silence was observed in memory of those who fell defending the country. The timed salute took place at the site of the old police station in Sderot and at all the combat zones where Israel Police officers fell that day while protecting Israeli citizens. As part of a special visit by senior police officials to the south, wreaths were laid at all the sites by senior officers and commanders of combat zone investigations, alongside officers.
