Police agreed to release David Ezra under restrictive conditions after he was suspected of randomly attacking women in Tel Aviv’s Florentin neighborhood. The court accepted the police request and ordered his release on bail.
Ezra is suspected of knocking down three women in the neighborhood’s streets in three separate incidents. The case had already advanced to the point where, on Sunday, the court ordered police to submit a prosecutor’s statement indicating whether they intend to file an indictment or seek his release.
The latest decision means Ezra will not remain in custody, but his release will be conditioned by court-imposed limits while the investigation and possible charges continue.
