Israel's police force is intensifying its efforts against speeding violations with the introduction of a new speed-measuring handgun. This advanced firearm will allow officers to document and record drivers' speeds in real-time without the drivers' knowledge. Previously, officers often had to pursue vehicles to issue citations for speeding. The new technology aims to streamline the process, with reports of violations to be sent directly to the offending drivers' homes. The move is part of a broader strategy by the Traffic Division to enhance road safety and combat traffic offenses.
