Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts that on Sunday, October 4, temperatures will rise slightly to near seasonally average levels with partly cloudy skies. A northerly wind is expected to strengthen along the coastal plain in the afternoon. Highs will range from 17-26 degrees Celsius in Jerusalem, 19-29 in Tel Aviv, 20-28 in Haifa, and 22-34 in Eilat. Other cities will see similar temperatures, with Beer Sheva at 18-30, the Dead Sea coast at 25-33, Ashkelon and Ashdod at 19-30, Ariel at 18-28, and Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee area at 19-33. The Golan Heights will experience temperatures between 16-32 degrees Celsius. Sea water temperature off the Mediterranean coast will be 28 degrees Celsius, with wave heights between 50-110 cm. Winds along the Mediterranean coast will be northwesterly at up to 20 km/h near Tel Aviv and Haifa. Near the Sea of Galilee, winds will be northwesterly up to 30 km/h, and in the Eilat Bay area, winds will be northeasterly up to 15 km/h. Looking ahead, Monday is expected to bring cooler temperatures and variable cloudiness. Tuesday will be cool and rainy, with temperatures rising again on Wednesday and Thursday. The following Friday and Saturday are forecast to be warmer than average and cloudy.
