Two years after reporting a sexual assault, Israeli reality TV winner Yuval Maatook has revealed details of a recent confrontation with an individual she claims witnessed the traumatic event but did nothing to intervene. Maatook, 31, shared on social media that approximately two weeks prior, she met with this person at a police station.

During the encounter, Maatook stated she looked the witness in the eye and told him, "He saw me being brutally raped by his best friend and did nothing." She described the experience as incredibly difficult but also empowering, saying it was the first time in years she felt a sense of strength. Maatook initially reported the alleged rape two years ago, in September 2024, and also filed a complaint regarding the non-consensual distribution of a nude photo of herself, which she claimed was linked to the primary suspect.

Maatook explained her decision to revisit the issue publicly was to reach out to others who might be suffering in silence. She admitted to previously fearing she wouldn't be believed and would be judged by society, but the recent confrontation solidified her resolve.

"I don't know what the future holds or what the authorities will decide, but I know one thing: I am no longer silent," Maatook declared. She vowed to continue speaking out and fighting, both for herself and for anyone else struggling to find the courage to take the first step. She emphasized that victims are not alone.

Maatook's allegations first came to light in September 2024. A confrontation between her and the main suspect occurred in January 2025. She had previously requested an investigation into another individual she believed was present and witnessed the assault.
