He admitted to contemplating cancellation but ultimately decided to proceed, citing faith and optimism for a safe journey.

Another traveler, a New York resident, initially felt anxious after waking up to news of the incident but proceeded with his flight to join his family for the holidays, relying on prayer for safety. A different passenger, however, felt safer flying through Dubai than traveling by road within Israel, citing statistics on road accidents. His wife, conversely, expressed significant fear and wished to cancel, stating she was only accompanying him and hoped to change her return flight.

This divergence in reactions highlights a recurring question among Israeli travelers: how much should the identity of an airline and its security measures be considered when choosing flights, especially when prices are lower, destinations are more accessible, or direct flights are unavailable?
