Thousands March in West Bank to Mark Re-establishment of Settlements
Over 10,000 people from across Israel participated in the Samaria March on Sunday, walking from the settlement of Ganim to Kadim in the northern West Bank. The march commemorated the re-establishment of these two settlements, which were destroyed 21 years ago as part of the Disengagement Plan, and occurred about a month after their rebuilding. The event was organized by the settlement department and community center of the Samaria Regional Council, along with the communities of Noam, Ganim, and Kadim.
The march concluded with a celebratory rally in Kadim, attended by National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, Settlement and National Missions Minister Orit Strock, and Knesset Member Limor Son Har Melech. The day began with a festive Hallel prayer service in the new settlement of Noam. The event also featured a performance by singer Beni Landau, who was joined by Shir David Gadsi.
