Thousands March Towards Gaza Demanding Resettlement

Thousands of Israelis, including public figures, ministers, and Knesset members, are participating in a convoy from Yad Mordechai towards the northern Gaza Strip's boundary, advocating for victory and Jewish resettlement in the Gaza Strip. The event, led by the Nahala movement and other right-wing organizations, aims to pressure the government to advance Jewish settlement in Gaza under the slogan "Choosing Victory - Settling in Gaza." The convoys gathered at the Yad Mordechai junction at 2:00 PM before proceeding towards the northern boundary and the former settlement of Nisanit.

Organizers stated that in light of the failure of various political initiatives, the message to the Prime Minister is that long-term security can only be achieved through civilian presence and control of the territory. Daniela Weiss, chairwoman of the Nahala movement, declared from the convoy that the war's victory image will only be achieved by returning to all parts of their land and settling Gaza with Jews, likening the effort to the determined establishment of Zionist settlements in the past.

Zvi Tzvi Eliyahu Sharf, also chairman of the Nahala movement, added that the gathering aims to empower the government to proceed with the Defense Minister's statements about establishing Nachal settlements and to prevent the entry of an international force that threatens southern residents and Israel. He asserted that only Jewish settlement will provide security control, victory, and the realization of the Zionist vision.

A central rally is scheduled for 4:00 PM at the northern boundary's observation point, with ministers and public figures in attendance. A sukkah complex will be set up for an overnight stay near the border, including activities and panels for families.
