Woman Rescued After Car Plunges 7 Meters in Jerusalem
An Israeli woman was rescued and hospitalized after her car plunged approximately 7 meters (23 feet) down an embankment in Jerusalem on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred on De La Perle Street.
Emergency services, including Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics and firefighters, responded to the scene. Firefighters extricated the 66-year-old woman from the vehicle.
MDA medics provided her with medical treatment before transporting her to Shaare Zedek Medical Center. She was reported to be in light condition.
