Maya Bezalel Asis Moves to Channel 12 for New Daily Show

Maya Bezalel Asis, a familiar voice from early morning radio for over a decade, is transitioning to television with a new daily program on Channel 12. The show, expected to launch soon, will be broadcast live from Sunday to Wednesday in the afternoon, replacing existing news segments. It will focus on current events, with a particular emphasis on culture and entertainment.

Bezalel Asis has been closely associated with the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation in recent years. She co-hosts the morning show "#Hitchalnu" on Kan Gimel with Kuti Segev, airing Sunday to Wednesday from 7 to 9 AM. The pair also appear together on the program "Mah SheTagidu" on Kan 11. Their collaboration began in 2015 and has continued through various station changes.

This move marks a significant career shift for Bezalel Asis, who is accustomed to starting her day well before most listeners. Her new role on Channel 12 will provide her with a prominent, regular platform four days a week, live on air.
