After 12 years with the news company, Perati announced she is leaving to take on a new role as spokesperson for the Histadrut labor federation. Her partner and children joined her in the studio to support her during the farewell. Perati shared that her path to joining the news company was challenging, involving multiple attempts before being offered a three-month trial that turned into a 12-year tenure. In her new position, she intends to continue advocating against the high cost of living, a cause she covered as a journalist. In a recent social media post, she described Channel 12 as more than just a workplace, highlighting the deep connections and life changes it brought her, including meeting her partner and father of her children. She hopes to perform well in her new role, as she did in journalism.
