Thousands Attend Major Hasidic Celebration in Petah Tikva
Tens of thousands of Hasidim gathered in Petah Tikva for the "Simchat Beit Hashoeva" (Rejoicing of the Water Drawing) celebration hosted by the Mishkoltz Hasidic dynasty. The event, held at Israel's largest stadium, featured a speech by the Rebbe of Mishkoltz, Rabbi Moshe Yehoshua Hager.
In his address, the Rebbe addressed the issue of yeshiva students and military conscription, stating that those who prevent yeshiva students from studying Torah are the true "deserters." He argued that neglecting Torah study, which he believes protects the Jewish people, leads to wars and troubles. The Rebbe expressed his belief that strengthening Torah study will hasten the redemption.
The Mishkoltz dynasty is a prominent Hasidic group, and their annual Simchat Beit Hashoeva is a significant event for their followers. The celebration included traditional Hasidic music, dancing, and communal prayer, drawing participants from across Israel.
