Hassidic Dynasty to Host Major Sukkot Celebration in Petah Tikva Stadium

Preparations are underway for the Mishkoltz Hassidic dynasty's "Great Rejoicing of the House of Drawing Water" celebration, a major event for strengthening faith and drawing people closer to God. The festival will take place on Monday, October 28, 2026, during the intermediate days of Sukkot, at the "HaMoshava Stadium - Shlomo Bitach" in Petah Tikva. Gates open at 7:00 PM, with evening prayers at 7:15 PM inside the stadium.

This event has become a long-standing tradition for the Mishkoltz Hassidic court, attracting tens of thousands from all walks of public life. Attendees come to celebrate the holiday and express their appreciation for the Mishkoltz institutions, described as a bastion of Torah and kindness in Petah Tikva, and for their spiritual leader, Rabbi of Mishkoltz. The celebration is held under the auspices of the Petah Tikva Municipality and Mayor Rami Greenberg.

The artistic program will feature prominent singers from Israel and abroad, including Mordechai Shapiro (USA), Chaim Yisrael, Shlomo Cohen, and Maestro Yoeli Dickman with his expanded orchestra. Organizers promise this year's event will be grander than ever, with many surprises. The HaMoshava Stadium, the largest and most impressive in Israel, can accommodate tens of thousands.

A joint command center involving the Hassidic court, police, Magen David Adom (MDA), fire department, and the municipality has been established near the venue to manage the celebration and ensure public safety. Strict modesty guidelines will be enforced, with separate entrances for men and women supervised by the Mishkoltz Beit Din Tzedek. The police have allocated a special area for baby strollers.

Transportation to the stadium is accessible via the Light Rail (Line 3R), buses, and trains to Kiryat Aryeh train station, adjacent to the stadium. Ample parking is available. A significant part of the ceremony involves the thousands present accepting the "Yoke of the Heavenly Kingdom" during the Rabbi of Mishkoltz's address, with the "Shema Yisrael" prayer echoing through the city, drawing many closer to God.

The event also marks over 50 years of leadership by the Rabbi of Mishkoltz in Petah Tikva, during which he is credited with a significant spiritual revolution and the establishment of numerous institutions, including a comprehensive educational network, rabbinical courts, and a kosher certification agency, Beit Din Tzedek Mishkoltz.
