Cancer Patients and Families Celebrate Sukkot at Sheba Medical Center
Children battling cancer and their families celebrated Sukkot at an event organized by the Rachashei Lev organization at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel HaShomer. The "Simchat Beit Hashoeva" celebration, held Tuesday evening, aimed to bring the holiday spirit into the hospital environment for families undergoing treatments and hospitalizations during the festival.
Singers Shmulik Sukkot and Moshe David Weissmandl performed for the children and their families, providing music and entertainment. Attendees enjoyed food, dancing, and music, with the children celebrating alongside their families and the organization's volunteers.
The event is part of Rachashei Lev's year-round mission, which extends beyond medical treatment. The organization focuses on providing emotional and social support through various activities and events designed to offer moments of normalcy, joy, and respite from the challenges of cancer for the children and their families.
