Teen Cyclist Critically Injured in Jerusalem Area Car Collision
An approximately 15-year-old boy was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle near the Qalandia checkpoint in the Jerusalem area. The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at approximately 9:21 PM.
Paramedics from Magen David Adom (MDA) responded to the scene after receiving a report at their Jerusalem hotline. They provided initial medical treatment to the boy, who was found to be in severe condition with multi-system trauma. He was sedated and placed on a ventilator.
The injured teenager was subsequently transported to Shaare Zedek Medical Center for further treatment. The circumstances surrounding the collision are currently under investigation.
