Two Trucks Collide in Haifa, Leaving One Man Critically Injured
A man in his 40s sustained critical injuries in a severe road accident involving two trucks on Yigal Yadin Road in Haifa on Tuesday. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) responded to the scene after receiving a report at their Carmel district hotline.
Upon arrival, paramedics identified the injured man, who was unconscious and suffering from a severe head injury. They provided immediate life-saving medical treatment, including sedation and ventilation, before transporting him.
The critically injured man was evacuated by an intensive care ambulance to the trauma unit at Rambam Health Care Campus in Haifa. He remains sedated and on a ventilator due to the severity of his head trauma.
Senior MDA paramedics Afik Tobias and Muhammad Sweid described the scene as a "difficult accident between two trucks," noting the man's critical condition upon their arrival and the subsequent emergency treatment and transport.
