However, the Palestinians received no commitment or promise for the resumption of financial aid.
A Palestinian source familiar with the matter indicated that commanders from the Revolutionary Guards and the Quds Force were absent from the official meetings with the Hamas delegation. This absence, the source stated, reflects the current nature of communication between Iran and Hamas, which is not serving the terrorist organization's interests.
In response to Iranian pressure, Hamas is continuing to prioritize escalating confrontations in the West Bank as a central element of its activities. This strategy aims to appease Tehran and secure the renewal of its financial backing.
