New Poll Shows Ofer Winter's Party Surging, Opposition Bloc Shrinking

A new poll conducted by the "Maagar Mochot" institute for News 16 reveals a significant shift in the Israeli political landscape. The newly formed "Yashar!" party, led by Ofer Winter, is projected to be the largest party in the Knesset with 21 seats. The incumbent Likud party follows with 19 seats.

Other parties showing strong results include "Beitech" with 14 seats and "HaDemocratim" with 9 seats. In the religious and Haredi sector, Shas and Otzma Yehudit each garner 8 seats, United Torah Judaism receives 7 seats, and the Religious Zionism and Identity list secures 6 seats.

In the opposition and Arab party segments, Yisrael Beiteinu and the Joint List each stand at 7 seats, while Ra'am receives 5 seats. Ofer Winter's "Am Yisrael" party, a new entity, is polling at 5 seats, and the "HaMiluimnikim VeHaKalkalit" party, a union of Hillel Halkawi and Ze'ev Elkin, enters the Knesset with 4 seats.

The poll indicates a slight advantage for the coalition bloc, including "Am Yisrael," with 53 mandates compared to the opposition bloc's 51 mandates. The Arab parties (Joint List and Ra'am) hold 12 mandates.
