Givat Shmuel Youth Build Sukkot Huts for Elderly and Reservist Families

Dozens of young people from Givat Shmuel's youth movements and clubs participated in a heartwarming volunteer initiative to build Sukkahs across the city ahead of the Sukkot holiday. Participants from Bnei Akiva, Beit Yossi club, and Ilanuer worked together to construct over 50 Sukkahs for elderly residents, families of reservist soldiers, and other community members needing assistance.

The operation, led by the municipal youth department under Liran Rozio, highlighted the spirit of volunteerism and mutual responsibility among the city's youth. The collaboration between different youth organizations generated significant emotion among the families and seniors who received ready-made Sukkahs for the holiday, thanks to the young volunteers' generosity and efforts.

The Givat Shmuel Municipality expressed great pride in the accomplishments of the participants and their supervisors, noting that youth activities continue to foster a high-quality, value-driven, and engaged generation committed to addressing community needs with dedication and love. The municipality thanked all those involved and wished the city's residents a happy Sukkot holiday filled with unity.
