Rafi Menco will again be absent from the Hapoel Emek basketball team's roster for their upcoming game against Maccabi Rishon LeZion. The club stated that the Israeli national team forward is not currently part of their professional plans. However, internal disagreements exist within the coaching staff, with some members believing Menco should be given playing time.

Hapoel Emek suffered a dramatic overtime defeat to Kiryat Ata, losing 99-98 after previously holding an 18-point lead. Maccabi Rishon LeZion lost to Hapoel Be'er Sheva/Dimona with a score of 84-75.
For Maccabi Rishon LeZion, Idan Zalmanson is set to make his debut with the team. Ori Cornelius will not participate due to a back injury.
