Hapoel Holon announced on Monday evening that it has exercised the option in Yair Kravits’s contract, keeping the 27-year-old guard for another season. The move strengthens the club’s roster for the coming year.
Kravits, who stands 1.95 meters tall, joined Holon from Ness Ziona last summer. In his first season with the purple club, he averaged 7.4 points, 3.8 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game.
After signing the extension, Kravits said he was “happy and proud” to continue with Hapoel Holon. “From the very first moment I connected with and felt the strength of the club, the fans and the community,” he said, thanking the club for its trust and saying he looks forward to meeting the supporters and doing everything possible to bring success.
Head coach Predrag Krunic praised Kravits as a player who “worked very hard this season and gave everything for the team.” Krunic added that Kravits has ambition and wants to improve both the team and himself, and said he is glad the guard will remain with Holon.
