Hapoel Holon announced on Monday night that it has exercised the option on guard Yar Kravitz’s contract, keeping him with the club for another season. The 27-year-old, who is 1.95 meters tall, joined Holon from Ness Ziona last summer and became part of the team’s core for the coming campaign.
In his first season in purple, Kravitz averaged 7.4 points, 3.8 assists and 2.9 rebounds per game. The move is a significant step in shaping Holon’s roster for next season.
After signing, Kravitz said, "I am happy and proud to continue for another season at Hapoel Holon. From the very first moment I connected and felt the strength of the club, the fans and the community. Thank you for the trust, and I am looking forward to meeting the fans in the stands and doing everything to bring success to the club."
Head coach Predrag Krunic praised Kravitz for his work ethic and ambition, saying he "worked very hard this season and gave everything for the team." Krunic added that Kravitz wants to improve both the team and himself, and said he was glad the guard is staying.
