Toddler Suffers Severe Burns in Boiling Water Accident
Emergency medical services responded to a home accident on Miriam HaNavi Street in Ramat Beit Shemesh on Tuesday, where a two-year-old toddler sustained severe burns to his upper body and limbs from boiling water.
Paramedics and volunteers from the "Tzevet Hatzala" organization arrived at the scene after receiving a report about the injured child. Responders described finding the toddler suffering from second-degree burns. They provided initial medical treatment alongside MDA (Magen David Adom) paramedics.
The child was transported by an MDA ambulance in moderate condition to the trauma unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem for further care. Medical teams from United Hatzalah also provided assistance at the scene.
