Israeli Settlers Attack Palestinian Village Near Ramallah, Setting Cars Ablaze

In the Palestinian village of Al-Murayr, northeast of Ramallah, a group of Israeli settlers allegedly attacked residents and set several cars on fire during the night of September 29. Video footage appears to confirm the burning of vehicles. Reports also indicate that homes were targeted, with one house, occupied by a family, reportedly having a Molotov cocktail thrown into it.

This incident marks at least the third such attack on Al-Murayr in recent days. On September 26, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported an attack on vehicles on the road between Al-Murayr and Abu Falih, as well as the theft of agricultural equipment and an attack on an ambulance.

Further escalation occurred on September 28, when WAFA reported settlers attacking a residential building in Al-Murayr. Later that evening, a car carrying a young couple and a small child was attacked, resulting in injuries to the child.

In the preceding day, September 28, reports also emerged of cars being set on fire in other Arab villages northwest of Ramallah, specifically Dir Abu Mashal and Ras Qaryut.
