Israel Weather Forecast: Cooler Temperatures and Scattered Showers Expected
Israel's Meteorological Service forecasts a drop in temperatures for Tuesday, September 29, with readings expected to be slightly below the seasonal average. Variable cloudiness is anticipated across the country.
Scattered showers are possible in the morning and evening hours, particularly in northern regions and along the Mediterranean coast. Temperatures in Jerusalem will range from 17 to 24 degrees Celsius, while Tel Aviv will see highs between 24 and 28 degrees. Haifa is forecast to have temperatures between 22 and 27 degrees, and Eilat will experience a range of 25 to 35 degrees.
Other cities and regions include Beer Sheva (20-28 C), the Dead Sea coast (25-32 C), Ashkelon and Ashdod (23-29 C), Ariel (19-26 C), Tiberias and the Sea of Galilee coast (20-30 C), and the Golan Heights (19-28 C).
The water temperature off the Mediterranean coast will be 29 degrees Celsius, with wave heights between 90 and 130 centimeters. Winds along the Mediterranean coast near Tel Aviv and Haifa will be westerly at up to 20 km/h. Near the Sea of Galilee, westerly winds will reach up to 25 km/h, while in the Eilat Bay area, winds will be northeasterly at up to 20 km/h.
No significant weather changes are expected from Wednesday through Monday.
