Israeli Tourist Missing in Paris, Search Efforts Expand

An Israeli tourist, identified as Malka Levi, 74, has been missing in Paris for several hours. The Magnus Search and Rescue organization has appealed to the public for assistance in locating her, stating that contact with Levi was lost around 2:20 PM local time on Monday. She has been missing for approximately six hours.

The last known sighting of Levi was at a pharmacy located at 64 Boulevard Malesherbes in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. She is described as being approximately 161 centimeters tall. Magnus is urging all Israelis currently in Paris to help with the search efforts and is asking anyone who may have encountered her or has information that could aid in her location to contact them immediately.

This incident brings to mind the recent case of Meli and Lial Yahalomi, two sisters who went missing during a European vacation less than two months ago. They were eventually found in Argentina after about a week. Rescue teams located them, and after an investigation, they were released, with authorities determining their departure was voluntary and pre-planned, with no criminal suspicion involved.
