Hostage Survivor Reveals Terrorist Threat of New October 7th Attack in Argentina

Gabriela Leimberg, a survivor of the Hamas captivity in Gaza, revealed on Monday that her captors instructed her and other hostages to travel to Argentina after their release, stating that the terrorists were planning a "second October 7th" there. Leimberg shared this information at a "Sukkah of Failure" event in Tel Aviv, emphasizing the explicit warning she heard directly from the terrorists.

Leimberg criticized the Israeli leadership for failing to conduct a thorough investigation into the failures that led to the October 7th massacre, accusing them of attempting to rewrite history. She referenced recent reports from The New York Times, The Atlantic, and The Wall Street Journal detailing numerous prior warnings received by Israeli leadership, including direct calls to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who allegedly dismissed them as exaggerated.

"How did he not convene everyone and slam the table and say to increase alertness in all sectors? How were we not protected?" Leimberg questioned, directly addressing the Prime Minister. "You were supposed to be our protector and you abandoned us, and then you abandoned our friends in captivity. I refuse to sit idly by, where were you? Why did you do nothing!"

Michel Illouz, father of Guy Illouz, who was abducted from the Nova music festival and murdered in captivity, also spoke at the event. He accused Netanyahu of inaction despite receiving global warnings, stating, "Everyone in the world called to wake you up, Bibi. You did nothing about it and I have no son because of you." Illouz further criticized political attempts to discredit hostage families and accused the leadership of "malicious abandonment" rather than just a conceptual failure.

Both Leimberg and Illouz urged citizens to hold leaders accountable, with Leimberg calling for voters to remember the October 7th massacre when they go to the polls on October 27th and to remove those responsible for the failures. Illouz stated that no trust can be placed in those who ignored warnings of an impending security earthquake and that anyone involved in the "government of malice" should not remain in leadership positions.
