Israeli Official Opposes Disqualification of Arab Lawmaker Sami Abed Al-Fatah

Israeli Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara's legal advisor, Gil Segalovich, stated that while he believes Sami Abed Al-Fatah should not run in the upcoming elections, he views the decision to disqualify him as fundamentally incorrect. Segalovich recommended that the matter be reviewed by the Supreme Court. He clarified that his opposition to Abed Al-Fatah's candidacy is based on the lawmaker's own statements, not on any personal opinion.
