Israeli police and border police forces discovered an M16 rifle, a magazine, and 27 bullets hidden on the roof of a warehouse in Ramla on Sunday. The discovery was made following intelligence reports and a search of a house in the city conducted by investigators from the Central District's special unit, in cooperation with border police and a K-9 unit, as part of an effort to combat illegal arms possession.
After an initial search of the house yielded no results, the forces expanded their search to the yard, where they found the concealed weapons and ammunition atop the warehouse roof. Three suspects present in the house were arrested and taken for questioning. Police confiscated the weapons, ammunition, and three mobile phones as part of the ongoing investigation.
