Rare Footage Shows Rabbi David Batzri at Final Hakafot Shniot
Rare footage has emerged of Rabbi David Shalom Batzri, a prominent Kabbalist, participating in the Hakafot Shniot (Second Hakafot) ceremony for the Hebrew year 5786. The video was released after his passing on the eve of the Sukkot holiday.
The ceremony, which marks the completion of the annual Torah reading cycle, was filmed at the main Beit Midrash (study hall) "Enter" in the Rimonim Center, located at 10 Aharonovich Street, first floor, in Bnei Brak. The Hakafot at this location are conducted according to the "Ahavat Shalom" tradition.
This year, the Beit Midrash "Enter" in Bnei Brak will again host Hakafot Shniot, with the participation of "leading rabbis of the generation." The event is scheduled to continue until 4:00 AM. Large screens will be set up for women in the "Keter HaRimon" halls.
