Renowned Kabbalist Rabbi David Batsri Dies on Eve of Sukkot Holiday

Rabbi David Batsri, a revered Kabbalist, passed away on the eve of the Sukkot holiday. He was 90 years old.

In the 24 hours preceding his death, Rabbi Batsri was documented engaging in holiday preparations with great joy. He was seen receiving the lulav and hadas, traditional Sukkot items, and later dancing after the completion of his sukkah's construction.

Additional footage captured the final moments of Rabbi Batsri reciting "selichot," penitential prayers often recited during the High Holidays and leading up to Sukkot.
