Hasidic Rebbes Celebrate Sukkot with Joyful Gatherings

Across Israel, Hasidic communities marked the Sukkot holiday with vibrant celebrations, including traditional "Simchat Beit Hashoeva" gatherings and "tishes" (receptions) led by their Rebbes. In Bnei Brak, the Rebbe of Nareel was seen performing the ritual taking of the Four Species during prayers, accompanied by his son, Rabbi Aharon Shapira, a noted authority on the subject. Hundreds of Darg Hasidim in Bnei Brak experienced the Rebbe's "an'anuyim" (swaying) and prayers, with his voice amplified for the congregation.

The Rebbe of Zutchka also led a "Simchat Beit Hashoeva" celebration from within a large sukkah, fostering an atmosphere of spiritual elevation. Tolded Aaron Hasidim in Jerusalem's Mea Shearim neighborhood gathered for a lively celebration, with a diverse crowd of Hasidim, Litvaks, Sephardim, and even knitted kippah wearers dancing together, encouraged by their Rebbe.

Concerns were raised among Gur Hasidim regarding the health of their Rebbe, who was reportedly unwell and missed holiday prayers. Meanwhile, the Rebbe of Kretschneif Kfar Ata in Jerusalem prepared for large "Simchat Beit Hashoeva" events and "tishes," including a special VIP section. In the United States, during the intermediate days of Sukkot, Hasidim were praying for the recovery of the Dzirka Rebbe, whose condition was described as critical.

Other Rebbes, including those from Alexander, Machnovka Belz, Temesvar, Kozmir, Uzhorod, Spinka Ramat Aaron, Dzhikov Vizhnitz, Dedesh, Vizhnitz, Lelov, and Spinka, held their own festive receptions and prayers, often featuring traditional songs and religious discourse. The Rebbe of Darg's sukkah was noted for its elaborate artistic decoration, combining fruits and wine. Political figures, including MK Yitzchak Goldknopf, were observed attending these gatherings.
