Yohananof Joins Supermarket iPhone Price War
The price war in Israel's mobile market has officially expanded from electronics chains to supermarket shelves, as competition among major food retailers intensifies. Following recent moves by "Osher Ad," "Victory," and "Shufersal" to sell the new iPhone 18, the "Yohananof" supermarket chain announced its entry into the fray. The chain, owned by businessman Eitan Yohananof, is offering the iPhone 18 Pro Max with 256GB of storage for 5,250 shekels. These devices are new, unactivated, come in original packaging, and include a nationwide warranty through DCS labs. They are available in blue, silver, and black, supporting eSIM only. Yohananof also announced it is now selling the new AirPods 4 for 369 shekels. Compared to other supermarkets, Yohananof's iPhone 18 Pro Max price of 5,250 shekels is the highest among those selling the device. "Victory" offers it for 4,399 shekels, "Osher Ad" for 4,490 shekels, and "Shufersal" for 5,199 shekels. "Rami Levy Stock" is also set to begin selling the iPhone 18 in its stores. Yohananof is limiting sales to one device per person.
