IDF Conducts Counter-Terror Operations in Southern West Bank, Seizes Weapons

Israeli military forces conducted extensive counter-terrorism operations across multiple locations in the southern West Bank over the weekend, aiming to enhance resident security. In the Gush Etzion Brigade area, soldiers from Battalion 932 carried out a focused operation in the village of Beit Ummar, surveying and mapping over 100 sites and individuals. Simultaneously, forces raided the village of Hussan, searching dozens of additional structures.

In the Hebron Brigade sector, operations centered on the cities of Hebron and Dahariya. During searches and interrogations aimed at locating weapons, an M16 rifle and ammunition were discovered in Dahariya. Two suspects were apprehended and transferred to police for further investigation in Hebron.

The security establishment emphasized that these offensive operations will continue throughout the southern West Bank region.
