IDF Eliminates Hamas Terrorist Who Kidnapped Noa Argamani

The Israeli military confirmed Sunday the elimination of Sahar Nidal Latifi Zakr, a terrorist involved in the October 7th Hamas attack who drove the motorcycle carrying Noa Argamani and her partner Avinatan Or after their abduction. Dramatic footage released by the Gideons Unit of Lahav 433 shows Zakr stopping his motorcycle next to a black car seconds before an Israeli Air Force strike targeted and killed him. An air force liaison is heard in the background confirming the operation, stating, "We are executing, ten seconds," followed by, "Executed. Precise work."

Zakr was eliminated in a joint operation by the IDF and Shin Bet, with assistance from the Gideons Unit. The military stated that Zakr also played a role in advancing terror plots against Israeli forces and civilians, collaborating with Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad operatives and systematically violating the ceasefire agreement. He was identified as a terrorist in global jihad organizations in the Gaza Strip and was involved in supplying weapons to Hamas throughout the war.

On October 7th, Zakr entered Israeli territory and was the driver of the motorcycle that transported Argamani and Or after they were kidnapped from the Nova music festival in Re'im. The image of Argamani being taken away on the motorcycle became an iconic symbol of the October 7th massacre. Zakr's elimination comes nearly two years after the abduction.

Noa Argamani was rescued eight months into her captivity during Operation Arnon. She has since been a vocal advocate for the release of her partner, Avinatan Or, who returned to Israel as part of a hostage deal signed on October 13, 2025.
