Iran's President: US, Israeli Actions Violate International Law
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that actions taken by the United States and Israel against Iran contravene international law and will not force his country to surrender. He asserted that attacks and pressure will not lead Iran to capitulate.
During a meeting of the Iranian government, Pezeshkian specified that targeting schools, leadership, and infrastructure is contrary to international norms. He criticized adversaries for claiming Iran is the terrorist party while threatening to destroy the country.
Pezeshkian mentioned that the Iranian delegation in New York presented images of women, children, and the elderly allegedly killed in attacks, challenging the other side to provide any evidence of Iran killing individuals.
He reiterated that neither attacks nor pressure will compel Iran and its people to surrender, adding that Iranian society is currently experiencing exceptional unity.
