Iranian President Accuses US and Israel of 'Killing Anyone They Want'

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has accused the United States and Israel of "killing anyone they want" and falsely labeling them as terrorists. In an interview with CBS News, Pezeshkian stated that Iran is open to dialogue but will not accept threats or the use of force, nor will it be compelled to surrender. He expressed doubt that the US and Israel would cease such actions.

Pezeshkian also asserted that Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has fully recovered from injuries sustained in attacks attributed to the Israeli military and US forces. Iran considers itself a victim of terrorism and accuses the US of violating international law, citing American strikes that killed Iranian commanders, scientists, and children.

Previously, Pezeshkian had indicated that the conflict's trajectory depended heavily on US decisions, claiming Israel provoked the current war and drew Tehran into it. He also stated that Iran is not interested in continuing hostilities or further escalation.

However, recent reports suggest a shift in Pezeshkian's stance, with him now advocating for continued military confrontation rather than a peaceful settlement with the US.
