Iran's President Accuses Israel of Saudi Oil Pipeline Attack

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has accused Israel of potentially orchestrating an attack on a key oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia. Pezeshkian stated that neither Iran nor Yemen were involved in the pipeline strike, suggesting Israel might have carried out the operation to escalate tensions and ignite conflicts. This accusation comes amidst broader commentary from the Iranian president regarding ongoing conflicts with Israel and the United States.

Pezeshkian also provided an update on Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, stating he has fully recovered from facial and leg injuries sustained from strikes by the Israeli military and U.S. forces. The Iranian president characterized Iran as a victim of terrorism and accused the U.S. of violating international law, citing American attacks that resulted in the deaths of Iranian commanders, scientists, and children. He framed Iran's actions as self-defense.

Previously, Pezeshkian asserted that Iran has never initiated wars and has always supported negotiations, but claimed the current confrontation was imposed externally. He further accused Israel of conducting military actions while Iran faces sanctions, calling this a display of double standards. Additionally, Pezeshkian confirmed that communication channels between Tehran and Washington remain open through intermediaries in Qatar and Pakistan, though he noted Iran's trust in the U.S. has significantly diminished following recent events.
