New Bennett Party Member Warns Against Serving Netanyahu

Keren Turner, a new member of Naftali Bennett's 'Yahad' party, stated on Sunday that forming the next government now would primarily benefit Benjamin Netanyahu. Turner emphasized that ego would not prevent the formation of a new government, highlighting that the four parties within their bloc are aligned on crucial issues such as establishing a state inquiry commission and limiting the prime minister's term.

Speaking on Kan Reshet Bet, Turner previously told 103fm that the "change bloc" is well-managed, with four parties and surplus agreements, aiming to convince the public of an alternative future for Israel. She urged voters seeking change from the current government, which she blamed for the October 7th failures, high cost of living, draft evasion, and a failing education system, to support their bloc.

Turner asserted that Yahad is the most experienced and skilled list among the current Knesset candidates. She praised Bennett's prior experience as prime minister, stating he requires no training. She described the party's roster as composed of "performers," former CEOs, committee chairs, and individuals with public sector experience, all possessing the necessary knowledge and skills to implement their work plans.

Turner expressed confidence in their growing support and outlined their vision for Israel's future. She believes the optimal scenario for Israel involves Naftali Bennett serving as prime minister alongside Yair Lapid, supported by a capable team of performers, to enact significant reforms. She concluded that the bloc's leaders must maximize their electoral support, and they will manage to reach agreements, asserting that ego will not impede the government's replacement.
